I was first introduced to PaperPie (formerly Usborne Books and More) at a young age when my mom had purchased books for our family. I fell in love with the books and the company's mission to promote literacy throughout the country. These days I'm a stay at home mother of 2 with my own business doing what I love, while getting to spend precious time with my family. It's only been a few years in, and already I've been consistently recognized as one of PaperPie's top team leaders continuously achieving explosive team growth, helping others start their own business and achieve their dreams.

My Story

My journey with PaperPie (formerly Usborne Books & More) started back in elementary school. I was quite the book nerd as a child, preferring books over toys any day. My mother hosted a home party to get loads of free books! I remember gravitating toward Usborne’s nonfiction titles about animals!

Fast forward to 2015 when I attended my first PaperPie Facebook party. As I put on my headphones and watched videos showing off the books while I sipped my glass of wine, I was totally amazed and I wanted them ALL!! Even though it was summer, I decided to stock up on books for my daughter’s birthday and Christmas presents and I ended up spending $200 on books!

We received our first order and we fell in love

The two books that stood out to me the most were Secrets of the Seashore (a shine-a-light flashlight book) and Lift the Flap book about Words. I had never seen such unique books! My daughter was catching onto SO MUCH new vocabulary that it was unbelievable. As a teacher, I was VERY impressed by the educational quality of these books!

A few months later, PaperPie had a kit special and it was a discounted price to join PaperPie! I was teaching at the time, and I was seeking opportunities to bring in more income for my family. After asking some questions and getting my husband on board, I joined, hosted a launch party, and the rest was history. My business EXPLODED and I quickly promoted to team leader. I was having so much fun and my paycheck increased with my promotion as well. I started to dream about all that could be made possible by my business.

Fast forward to now

I still have a growing and thriving team of book ladies who are setting big goals and dreaming alongside me. My husband has become a believer in that which is possible when a determined woman sets out with a big goal and a fire in her heart. I have earned multiple all expense paid reward trips on PaperPie’s dime - Punta Cana and an Alaskan Cruise for 2! Thanks in part to my book biz, I made the decision to quit teaching and stay home after having my son and I haven’t looked back and I now homeschool my children. I have also made so many real life friends because of my book business, some of whom I talk to on a daily basis. As you can see, there are numerous benefits to being a book lady; in fact there are far too many to name here!

I still have big dreams for myself and my team.

I would love to achieve complete financial freedom through this business and to be able to afford many more unique experiences for my family. Want to learn more about what I do? Just ask! I’m an open book!
